Welcome to Year 2 - We are the Platypus Class

Hello we are the Platypus Class. We are in Year 2. Our teacher is Miss Mutton and we also have our special helper, Mrs Hitch. Our teacher Miss Mutton loves chocolate, a lot! We think it's why she has so much energy.
We love coming to school because we have a good teacher, lots of friends and also our work is fun and challenging.
Our day begins with Thrass to help with our spelling, reading and writing. Then we have fun literacy centres about the big book of the week. After that we practise our maths. At the end of the day we participate in integrated studies.
We hope that we can learn about mummies and volcanoes and hopefully, do lots of fun science activities!
Its AWESOME being a platypus because its cool and fun!
